Black & Bright is a 2 bedroom, 2 bed, semi-detached home in the Victorian High Country. With a modern, eclectic take on early Australian pioneers, gold diggers, and huntsmen, it offers a unique and stylish getaway, ideally for two couples, in the gorgeous town of Bright. Centrally located in the heart of the Alpine region it's a stone's throw from the Ovens River at the end of the lane — yes, the picture below.

This little property was born out of a love for the history, beauty, and pure magic of the Victorian high country, and the need to escape from our crazy routines. Personally, for us, Karl & Shelley and our two teens, we love staying somewhere that makes us feel like it’s a part of the whole experience of retreating somewhere special.
Our time here is sublime, a sanctum for the soul — slowing down, reading in front of the fire, taking long walks in the bush, swimming, rafting and fishing in the river, mountain biking, eating great food, drinking local beer and wine — you'll never want to leave.
